- Consent-O-Matic (https://consentomatic.au.dk/) Uses user preferences to fill out consent request popups, and takes deceptive design patterns into account.
- Startpage (https://startpage.com/) A privacy friendly search engine with a robust incognito mode and none of the all-too-common antifeatures that most folks explicitly didn't ask for.
- Don't Track Me Google (https://github.com/Rob--W/dont-track-me-google) Removes google link conversions on search results.
- Indie Wiki Buddy (https://getindie.wiki/) Allows discovery of indie wikis and prioritizes results from those over the likes of fandom
- Youtube Search Fixer (https://phoennix.gitlab.io/youtubesearchfix/index.html) Fixes youtube search. Minimizes algorithmic noise in results, redirects shorts to the regular video player style, and so on.
- BlockTube (https://github.com/amitbl/blocktube) Allows one to block channels and other content on Youtube far more easily than the baseline site allows.
- Enhancer for YouTube https://www.mrfdev.com/enhancer-for-youtube) Adds a lot of useful features to youtube.
- Violentmonkey (https://violentmonkey.github.io/get-it/) Allows for page-by-page customization via userscripts.
- Facebook Container (https://github.com/mozilla/contain-facebook) Isolates facebook activity from the rest of your web activity. Firefox-specific due to being a Mozilla plugin.
- FrankerfaceZ (https://www.frankerfacez.com/) A twitch enhancing plugin (emotes, features)
- Alternate Player for Twitch (https://altplayer.carrd.co/) by Alexander Choporov, also available for Chrome and Edge) A more user-friendly player for twitch streams.
- Vencord (https://vencord.dev/) Allows for the kind of features Discord needed as baseline from day one, instead of more buttons and nitro upselling.
- Notepad++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/) A text editor with a whole bunch of genuinely useful features and text modes. Miles ahead of baseline notepad or wordpad and it's not even close.
- OpenOffice (https://www.openoffice.org) An office suite that's open source, with spreadsheets, database management, a word processor, and more. I swear by it.
- Shut Up (https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10/) By O and O software. Windows 10 and 11 antispyware tool, useful for greater control over settings, particularly those about privacy.
